Teams applying will play in their 2024-2025 age group and will be playing by birth year. We will play U8 and U10 (7 v 7), U11 and U12 (9 v 9), and U13-U19 (11 v 11). All application will need to have payment with them to be considered. This alone does not automatically enter your team. All teams will need to gain official acceptance into the ALBION CUP National Showcase in San Diego, California.

Boys Teams will play at SoCal Sports Complex , in Oceanside, and Girls Teams will play at Galway Downs Soccer Complex, in Temecula. Finals on Monday will be at SoCal Sports Complex, in Oceanside, for both Boys and Girls Teams.
**NOTE: ANY TEAM THAT SIGNS UP FOR THE WRONG AGE GROUP WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED A SPOT IN THE TOURNAMENT UNLESS THERE IS ROOM IN THE APPROPRIATE AGE GROUP. IF THERE IS NO ROOM IN THE PROPER AGE GROUP THE TEAM WILL NOT BE REFUNDED UNLESS THE TOURNAMENT FILLS THEIR SPOT IN THE TOURNAMENT.
Teams traveling in from out of state will be granted early acceptance starting January 1, 2024
Mandatory Team Check-In:
We will now do Team Check-In for all teams at the field on Saturday 90 min before the game.
Teams will be accepted in either the Showcase Flight (Top Flight) or the Cup Flight (2nd Flight), if a team is not accepted we will notify you of that and refund your fee.
Teams do not need to worry about travel papers.
All teams coming from outside San Diego will need to stay at one of the approved ALBION CUP Hotels in order to be accepted. This tournament is a “Stay and Play” event.
All teams will be scheduled to play at minimum of 3 games.
Applicant expressly recognizes and agrees that inclement weather situations are beyond the control of the tournament, and no credits or refunds will be given in the event that inclement weather interferes with, alters, or results in the cancelation of scheduled matches.
In the event of inclement weather forcing play to be halted and preventing the match from completing during the scheduled time, the score shall stand if at least one-half of the match has been completed.
Coaches that have multiple teams and need help with tournament coverage need to have in writing to the tournament the teams they are coaching by application deadline in order for the tournament to assist with schedules and the head coach needs to be listed as the head coach on the Got Soccer application. The ALBION CUP National Showcase will do its very best to accommodate all coaches conflicts, but there are no guarantees.
Team Awards will be given to the first and second place team members and coach. Champions will receive team trophy, medals, and champions t-shirt. Finalist will receive medals.
Entree Fee*: $1095 U8-U10, $1295 U11-U19
*Credit Card payments have an automated 3% credit card processing fee
Please note: Once your team has been accepted and paid their entry fee, refunds will not be given. Teams can petition for a refund via email to [email protected]. The Tournament Directors will consider if adequate notice was given to find another team and determine if any administrative expenses have been incurred. The ALBION CUP National Showcase reserves the right to apply an administrative fee should a refund be granted in all cases of $75.
